The Shapes of Gratitude

For Robinson Bradshaw, the holidays are a time of year to express their gratitude. As the firm was marking 65 years of steady, intentional work, they wanted a message that was grateful, specific, and aligned with the brand’s future.

Together, we landed on a simple idea to describe their history, their success, and the plan for the futures: “By Design.” It wasn’t a tagline, it was their day-to-day truth. Robinson Bradshaw’s legacy didn’t happen by accident, it was built with consistent and shared intention year after year.

We turned their story into a visual system that complemented their new brand with distinct, campaign-specific design elements. Made from three shapes, each representing an aspect of the origin and continued source of success: Clients (a square, stable foundation), Community (an arch that connects and reaches out), and Commitment (a triangle, directional element pointing forward). From those three forms, we built distinctively recognizable campaign assets: completely custom typeface on a consistent 3 by 4 grid, a collection of shape-based patterns, and complementary color palette, so the campaign didn’t just say “built by design” it showed it. Together, the assets presented an on-brand image for the holiday campaign while differentiating it from everyday news, awards, and updates on their social channels.

The final campaign came to life across an animated video, holiday email, and landing page designed to thank the clients who made 65 years possible, and to carry their gratitude into what’s next.
